PART1 //« If clients ask for your age, you tell them that you’re 18. » Yesterday I have celebrated my 31st birthday like I said in this interview for the French media @konbini . It might be surprising for some, nothing for others but for me it is a liberation! In 2015, I have started my modelling career and on the very first day the age’s question was already sensitive. In order to be true with myself and embrace my personal story, I have decided to explain how I end up subtracting 6 years of my life to match with this « cult of youth » in the fashion industry. I introduce myself to you officially : Christelle Yambayisa, born in 1988 in Rwanda. I have ran away from Rwanda during the war in 1994 and arrived in France 1996. After my master degree I became a model. #blackdontcrack
